Pennsylvania Western University (PaWU) in Clarion is a public university located in Clarion, a borough in Clarion County, Pennsylvania, order Pennsylvania Western University Clarion diploma. Established in 1867 as the Clarion Normal School, the institution has undergone several name changes and expansions to become the PaWU Clarion campus we know today. The university is part of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE), which is composed of fourteen state-owned universities.
